Christmas in July -- JJ Style

Good Morning! Welcome to the latest Catch the Bug challenge for Bugaboo Stamps. This week we are celebrating Christmas in July. Having Christmas in July might even cool things off for some of us! LOL! As usual, you have a chance to win some of Jodie's awesome images by entering a card in the challenge. But wait, that isn't it -- this week we have a sponsor! Jodie has some fabulous Christmas images in the store --with new bobbleheads and A Kid's View Nativity having been added this week. Lots of fabulous images to chose from. I decided to go with the JJ Christmas Cheer images. I'd been wanting to try an accordion tag card for a while and this was the perfect opportunity.

First up is Merry Christmas. Now, although the images come with fantastic sentiments, I decided to type a sentiment under each image, tweaking them slightly to fit my ideas. The font is the same as the Will & Grace TV show. JJ is colored with Copics. I added some Glossy Accents to her boots and the candy "buckle" of her belt. Her sentiment reads, Merry Christmas, Darling!

Next up are tis the season and deck the halls. I added Christmas Stickles to the holly balls and ornaments. Again, a bit of Glossy Accents to her martini. Their sentiments are "tis the season to deck the halls" and "eat, drink and be merry...".

Next up are wrapped up and naughty. I added Polar White Flower Soft to her Santa outfit and Glossy Accents to her boots (patent was definitely called for here). For wrapped up, I gave her fishnet stockings by drawing in some quick lines. The sentiments here are "be a little naughty" and " and unwrap THIS!" *giggle*

Finally, here is the entire card open. I'm very happy with how it came out. Using my Crop-a-dile, I punched a hole at the top of each and tied in a bit of pretty May Arts ribbon. I wasn't able to get the patterned paper cut down on the top of the tag, as I was cutting everything at once and didn't think I'd get it all even. I think it still looks great and I definitely think my husband will get a kick out of this come Christmas.
